The vision was clear: a no-nonsense disaster planning website complete with gear guides and silly cartoons to lighten the mood. Then COVID-19 hit and the team was forced to pivot (weren’t we all?). With a goal to lighten the mood and help raise awareness for social justice issues, Here Comes the Apocalypse worked quickly to add free downloads and an apparel store.

Responsive E-Commerce Website Design & Development
The mobile-optimized custom website features a full-screen original red-scare illustrated animation as a welcome to the site. Every post features custom illustrations, which are reused on Here Comes the Apocalypse’s social media.
Social Media Management
An Instagram filled with illustrations was a daunting task, to be sure. We brainstormed a checkerboard pattern, interspersing quotes with the illustrations to break them up and add extra content.
“Greetings Neighbor” Downloadable Card Design
In 2020, most of us were at home all of the time. This downloadable card design was a fun and easy way to let our neighbors know that we were there with them, even when we couldn’t be physically there with them.
Downloadable Coloring Pages Design
Coloring is fun for adults and kids alike. These downloadable coloring pages gave site visitors a new perspective on the pandemic and an activity they could share with their kids.
Originally planned to communicate disaster planning advice and humor, we created custom illustrations to be paired with articles and thoughts on the global pandemic.
Look good curing the pandem-apocalypti-revolution in the custom apparel we designed for Here Comes the Apocalypse.
